The inward values that determine outward actions

Character First

The school currently runs a program called Character First which is based around a series of character traits seen in the person Jesus Christ. We believe that your character determines your success and as a Christian School we are committed to building in each of our school community members the character of Christ.

Each term, a new character trait is introduced at a whole school assembly and classes will use that trait as a focus for their lessons for that term.

A student, from each sub-school, who has demonstrated that trait on a consistent basis during the term are rewarded with a certificate at the end of term assembly.

Each character trait has a definition. You can find the full list of definitions here.

2016 character traits - Flexibility; Contentment; Endurance; Joyfulness.

2017 character traits - Self Control; Responsibility; Generosity; Gratefulness.

2018 character traits - Determination; Initiative; Justice; Attentiveness.

2019 character traits - Resilient, Motivated, Resourceful, Engaged.
