Specialist lessons with other teachers include Music and Health/Physical Education which includes Cross Country, Swimming and Athletics Carnivals.

Other optional specialist lessons include;

  • Choir - Year 3 to 5

  • Recorder - Year 1 to 3

  • Ukulele - Year 3

  • Instrumental - Flute, Ukulele, Keyboard, Trumpet & Violin - Year 4 to 5.

The school supports local hockey and nominates teams for the junior competition made up of students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. Team groupings are Year K - 1, Year 2 & 3 and Year 4 - 6. Students in Grades 4, 5 & 6 are also able to try out for the school soccer teams to take part in a local schools roster.

The school caters for special learning needs with programs designed to accommodate specific requirements.

Parents are always welcome to come into the school to volunteer within the classroom.

We look forward to sharing the journey of your child’s learning with you. Please contact the school if you would like more information about enrolling at CHCS.
