Students are given practical opportunities to learn leadership skills in a supportive environment

Student Leadership

The school operates an annual student leadership program in each of the sub schools, giving a number of students the opportunity to learn and demonstrate leadership skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Junior School - In the Junior School every Grade 5 student has the opportunity to be a student leader for 1 term.

Middle School -  Students are invited to apply to be a student leader.  After filling in an application they are interviewed by the staff team in charge of student leadership.  Grade 6 students get an opportunity to attend a grip leadership workshop.

College - Students are invited to apply to be a student leader.  After filling in an application they are interviewed by the staff team in charge of student leadership. There is a leadership retreat held each year to learn new skills & plan activities for the year.

House Captains - Each House has two captains and vice-captains who are responsible to assist the House leaders on Sports Carnival days, House days and other house competitions.

School captains - School captains and vice captains are nominated by the college staff and preferably come from Year 12.  They need to be able to model the Christian ethos of the school in all aspects of their school life and represent the school at official functions.
